12 Days of Christmas Outfits – 10 Lords-A-Leaping

Today is our final guest post for our 12 Days of Christmas Outfits series (Mizzie & I have the final two) and we’re finishing it out with one of our favorite street style photographers, Heidi Jewell. We love checking out Heidi’s fashionable photos on her blog, Under the Guise, but you never know where you may see one of her pics. Her street style photos have graced the sites of Elle, Nylon, Vogue, Style.com, Stylecaster and Refinery 29 just to name a few… seriously the list goes on. And now we get to read her daily emails for Nylon. She’s the editor of the Nylon Daily Nashville Edition! Here is Heidi’s interpretation of 10 Lords-A-Leaping.

12 Days of Christmas Outfits – Nine Ladies Dancing

Today’s 12 Days of Christmas Outfits comes to us from Boston! Melissa Massello and Amy Chase are the Swapaholics and they know how to throw a party. Their legendary swap events have fashion lovers nationwide heading home with bags full of designer apparel, accessories and beauty products. Now you don’t even need to leave your house to swap! The new Swap.com Market launched last week. Thanks Melissa and Amy! We hope to add Nashville to your list of 2012 Swap cities.

For me and Amy, 2011 has been the year of the swap, criss-crossing the country to party with fashion lovers everywhere at our massively fun clothing swaps, and we couldn’t be more thrilled about last week’s launch of our new Swap.com Market! Now, ladies everywhere can turn their retail regrets and gently worn castoffs into the objects of their desire by swapping with people around the world, then either meet up in person locally or mail their items. So, party people, we’re celebrating the 12 days of Christmas with Stella Shops in true Swapaholics style – with a curated selection of 9 items every lady should own for a great dance party, all available at Swap.com:

1. Dance, Dance Revolution for the XBox (video games are not just for the boys!)

2. A fab pinky-red nail polish, like this one from Zoya

3. A metallic minidress, like this one from Romeo & Juliet Couture

4. Disco-inspired pumps, like these gold glittery ones from Lulu’s

5. Metallic eyeshadows to highlight lids, like this NARS palette

6. Fringed metal jewelry to move with the music, like this copper necklace

7. A coverup for between clubs, like this T by Alexander Wang poncho

8. Retro tunes reminiscent of slumber parties past, like the Spice Girls

9. A way to capture all the fun in vintage glamour, like with an original Polaroid

Continuing the vintage stream we have going with our 12 Days of Christmas Outfts, today’s outfitter is the uber cool Coury Combs of Fancy Treehouse. Coury is new to Nashville, so make her feel welcome and check out her blog and online vintage clothing shop. She has a pretty impressive collection of beautiful vintage pieces. It’s worth a visit to be inspired by her unique and creative style. Don’t tell her, but I’ve kind of been stalking her online for outfit ideas lately.
