What’s in Her Bag: Elaine Turner
It’s been too long since we’ve done a What’s in Her Bag post and with the new year upon us, it seemed like a good time to bring this series back. It happens to be one of my favorites. What better way to start then with an actual handbag designer. Meet Elaine Turner!

Elaine started her handbag line, which is now a lifestyle brand, in 2000. Her handbags, shoes and accessories don’t shy away from mixing materials making for some stunning combinations. No matter what your style, there is a handbag or bracelet or shoe that I know you will instantly covet.
Elaine hails from Texas and Elaine Turner headquarters are based in Houston. Her recently opened boutique in the Mall at Green Hills is her first retail location outside of her home state. If you haven’t stopped in yet, you need to put it at the top of your list. It’s a beautiful store that is merchandised in a smart and modern way. This is a store where you’re not afraid to pluck a bag off the wall and give it a quick spin, or lounge on the plush pink sofas while trying on a gorgeous cuff bracelet or a fabulous pair of heels. It’s chic, inviting and comfortable.
